The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, A.P. Kelly, rider of Good Thoughts, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not jump well throughout, came off the bridle early and felt he was going nowhere down the back before staying on past tired horses in the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the backstraight involving Call Me Flash, ridden by Caragh Monaghan, and Take Stock, ridden by A. Balfe where it appeared Take Stock clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A. Balfe stated that it got tight for room and he maintained his line. He further added that Call Me Flash came across him and he clipped a heel. Caragh Monaghan stated that she came across and she didn't hear a shout. She further added that she wasn't aware that someone was behind her. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Caragh Monaghan was in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly, and having considered her clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rocky's Diamond, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Drumgill, for an additional ten minutes to present hios charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident jumping the second last fence involving High Class Hero (GB), ridden by P. Townend, Dee Capo (FR), ridden by J.W. Kennedy, Shannon Royale, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, Drumgill, ridden by Michael Kenneally, and Talk In The Park, ridden by D. Meyler, where it appeared contact was made mid air resulting in D. Meyler being unseated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had occurred and that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Waterford Whispers, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Sa Majeste (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins was found to have blood at one nostril post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Irancy (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Owing to low-lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdles number four and five to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Edward F. Power, trainer of Barrakilla Vage, for an additional ten minutes to present hios charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).
